The perfect time to visit Jordan, especially for touring the archeological sites and hiking, is during the shoulder season in spring from March to May and in the fall from September to November. The weather is relatively warm during the day but remains cool at night.

The summer months of June through August are scorching hot with no rain, making it difficult to comfortably tour the cities and the desert areas.

The winter months are cooler and bring short bursts of snow and rain from December through February. Less tourists are present during this time and allow for a more peaceful experience in the cities and major landmark sites.
