Refunds for balance payment
If you cancel your trip on or before May 5, 2025 at 11:59 PM local time (GMT -6), you will get a refund of the remaining balance. This may or may not include the deposit amount. See deposit refund section above.
If you cancel your trip from May 6, 2025 at 12:00 AM local time (GMT -6) onwards, no refunds will be issued.

Enter the embrace of nature at La Fortuna
-Enjoy a fresh and hearty breakfast before checking out of your San José hotel, ready to begin the next exciting chapter of your Costa Rican adventure.
-Get ready for a scenic drive to one of Costa Rica’s most iconic natural wonders — Arenal Volcano! As we journey through lush landscapes, you’ll be surrounded by breathtaking views of mountains, lakes, and tropical rainforests.
-After arriving in the scenic lakeside town of La Fortuna, we'll check-in at our serene accommodation and settle into our comfortable rooms.

Learn about organic agricultural practices on a farm tour
-Welcome the day with a vibrant breakfast, preparing to enjoy the unique experiences in scenic Costa Rica.
-Immerse yourself in the local culture with a visit to Vida Campesina, a local organic farm. Explore sustainable agricultural practices, taste the fruits from the farm's harvest, and enjoy a delicious lunch to cap off the visit.
-Head back to the resort to relax and rest. The rest of the day is awash with free time for you to enjoy at your leisure.
Day 5 · July 13, 2025
Immerse in indigenous culture with a visit to Maleku Indigenous Reserve
-After breakfast, set off for Maleku Indigenous Reserve at Tonjibe Village, where you'll dive deep into the vibrant traditions of Costa Rica's indigenous community.
-Learn about indigenous practices such as the way the dead are buried, how palenques were built in the past, and sharing on traditional medicinal plants.
-Enjoy lunch at the end of the tour in a palanque.
-Enjoy the afternoon at your own pace, luxuriating in the resort or exploring the resort's surroundings.
Day 6 · July 14, 2025
Thank you for the shared experience
-Enjoy a final breakfast in Costa Rica before preparing to check out of the accommodation.
-Say goodbye to the beautiful Arenal region as we take a group transfer to Juan Santamaría Airport. Take in the last scenic views of Costa Rica’s stunning landscapes during the drive.

What happens if I need to cancel my trip?

Will TourHero or the operator take care of my visa (if applicable)?
Travelers are responsible for researching visa requirements and obtaining a visa if needed. Please check government websites to ensure you have the necessary documents, along with passport requirements, before your departure date. This includes necessary transit visas, permits, and vaccinations required prior to travel and any required reciprocity fees for the destination. If your visa is denied for any reason, TourHero will issue a refund based on the cancellation policy. However, we are unable to provide a refund after the cancellation due date has passed.
