Day 1
Welcome to Jacó, Costa Rica – famed surf spot and spring break hideaway!
Welcome, travelers! We hope you had a stellar flight to Costa Rica! Upon arrival, take your private transfer to the town of Jacó, known for its surf beaches, nightlife, and its proximity to various national parks. Once there, check into your wonderful beachfront hostel, get your swimsuit on, and start your spring break getaway! The hostel features a beachfront pool and bar, the perfect spot to grab a drink and meet new friends. Hang here or spend the rest of your day exploring the area. Enjoy the water activities of Jacó Beach or head into town to check out the shops and boutiques. Your epic trip starts now!
Day 2
Get your heart racing on an ATV ride through Jacó’s tropical landscape
What better way to explore the sights and sounds of Jacó than on a rugged 4-wheeler? Once you hop into your 2-person ATV, you’ll take in the coastline, rainforest, and the peaks of the nearby hills, beautifully accompanied by the sound of local wildlife and birdsong. You’ll spend a few hours cruising around the area with a local guide who will help you see Costa Rica from a new perspective. Once you’ve dried off and peeled the mud from your body, you’ll have the rest of the day to spend as you wish. Enjoy time on the beach, have a drink by the pool, or why not head into town and explore some of the bars? Jacó is a beach town with a real party vibe, and you’ll find plenty of places to get the party started with a cocktail or two!
Day 3
Enjoy a free day in Jacó – choose your own adventure!
Good morning! Today, you can wake up at your own pace, have a delicious meal on the shoreline, and decide how you’ll spend your last day in paradise. You can lie on the beach, lounge by the pool, take a surf lesson, book a zip-line adventure, hike in one of the national parks, and even book a sunset catamaran tour. The choice is yours! With one final night in paradise, meet up with your group, enjoy a meal in town, and toast to a perfect spring break getaway. Cheers!
Day 4
It’s time to say goodbye to this little slice of heaven
Three days have come and gone, which means it’s time to head back home. After one last meal, pack your things and take your private transfer to the airport to catch your flight. As you scroll through your camera roll, think back to all of the great memories you made with friends new and old. Safe travels!

Selina Jacó is a colorful and dreamy hostel-style accommodation in the Puntarenas region catered to sustainable travelers. It is the only beachfront hotel in town that’s within walking distance from Jaco’s main streets. This makes Selina Jacó a prime place to call home for a couple of days. The property features a swimming pool, a communal kitchen, a restaurant, a bar, and a movie room. Free Wi-Fi will help keep you connected, and your cozy bunks will help you rest for another day’s adventure. Room type: Dorm bunk beds.

What happens if I need to cancel my trip?

Will TourHero or the operator take care of my visa (if applicable)?
Travelers are responsible for researching visa requirements and obtaining a visa if needed. Please check government websites to ensure you have the necessary documents, along with passport requirements, before your departure date. This includes necessary transit visas, permits, and vaccinations required prior to travel and any required reciprocity fees for the destination. TourHero will provide a booking confirmation document after purchase, which may be needed to obtain a visa.
If your visa is denied for any reason, TourHero will issue a refund based on the cancellation policy. However, we are unable to provide a refund after the cancellation due date has passed.
Do I need a passport for this trip?
A full and valid passport is required for all persons traveling to any destination outside of one’s home country. Most international tours require a passport that's valid for at least six (6) months beyond the scheduled end of your itinerary.
