Caroline Durieu & Xavier - TourHero

Hi there, I'm Caroline and I am an adventurous, curious, and passionate medical doctor. Global individualized medicine as I like to call it.
GLOBAL because we are one. Global mind/body/systemic health. Global also because I like to combine all medicines to find the perfect blend for everyone.
INDIVIDUALISED, because what helps some does not work for others! Did you notice how everything always comes down to a Gauss curve?
And that is a WONDER, not a shame!
Life is change, life is diversity, life is complexity, and it's an honor for health professionals to humbly encourage it.
Languages spoken: 3 fluently (English, French, and Spanish). Others in the learning...
Medical languages: 10+!
After med school, I studied Tropical medicine and International Health and worked in Africa (Bénin), Indonesia (Java), Guatemala (Santiago Atitlan), France, before settling back to Belgium.
I then studied Sports medicine for my husband, then homeopathy for the kids (don't bug on this one - skeptics are very welcome - after all we used to be too...)
It opened the door to aromatherapy, nutrition, hormonal balance, gemmotherapy, acupuncture meridians, some traditional Chinese and Japanese medicine, yoga, mudra and ayurveda, bach flower essences, naturopathy, breath work, energy work, ...
I learned all that mostly from diseases and obstacles, but lately more from trust and testing, and that is exactly what I love to teach.
One moto: turning high potential into high results!
Xavier, my husband, is a triathlete and a top manager for the Belgian branch of an international company. His skills, self-discipline, common sense, and peacemaking capacity perfectly complement my approach, and we believe having his rational point of view will help some of your better halves too...
Join us on a very unique and life-changing retreat!

A journey through time: Exploring the ancient wonders of Tikal and reflecting on our sensory experiences

Step back in time as we embark on a journey to Tikal, the largest archaeological site from the classical Mayan period. Surrounded by the lush, echoing calls of the jungle, Tikal stands as a monument to human ingenuity and the mysteries of civilizations past. With private transportation included and an expert guide at your side, explore the towering pyramids of Temples I through IV, the majestic Great Plaza, and the intricate 'Lost World' astronomical complex. The Tikal visit includes: Private transportation, entrance fees, an English-speaking guide, a lunch box, a cooler with drinks, and organic mosquito repellent.

Upon returning from the depths of ancient history, the evening will gently shift to reflection with a debriefing session where everyone is encouraged to share their sensations and perceptions of the day. This discussion not only deepens the personal connection to the site but also integrates the experience into our ongoing journey of healing and self-discovery. As the day concludes, we gather for dinner, where the conversation can continue to flourish, allowing us to draw from the day’s explorations and insights, fostering a deeper community bond and enriching our collective retreat experience.
