Join us for a transformative and intimate 4-night luxury women’s retreat in the beautiful Portuguese region of Ribatejo. Nestled in the heart of the serene Douro Valley, you’ll stay at Quinta Carvalhas – a captivating property that harmoniously blends nature, relaxation, and mindfulness. The beautifully rustic venue offers massage, holistic treatments, and equine encounters, as well as delicious local fare and tranquil farmland, to disconnect and relax the body, mind, and spirit from the hustle and bustle of city life. Here, you will have time to rewild, revere, and reconnect to your feminine essence.

Inspired by the elements of nature, these five days will be filled with carefully curated sessions and experiences designed to bring about profound healing, connection, insights, and transformation. The elements of earth, water, fire, air, and ether will be our guides, gently bringing us back home to our cyclical feminine nature. We will come together to play, transform, and support one another on this journey of remembrance.

Cancellation policy

TourHero, the retreat host, and the tour operator reserve the right to cancel or reschedule this trip up until December 26, 2023. If the departure is cancelled out of your control, you will be alerted by this date and will receive a full refund.

In this case, TourHero is not responsible for your preparation expenses, such as airline tickets, extra accommodations, loss of work, or any other cost associated with preparing for your trip. We recommend booking travel insurance, along with refundable flights/accommodations in case of cancellation.

Refunds for deposits
We will hold your spot as soon as you put down your deposit. However, if you decide to cancel your trip, we will be unable to refund your deposit.

Refunds for fully-paid trips
You may change or cancel your trip up until December 26, 2023 for a refund, excluding the deposit. After this date, no refunds will be given.

Trip cancellation due to COVID-19
A full credit will be issued if the tour is canceled when there is full border closure due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. This credit can go towards booking a future TourHero tour. We suggest buying your own travel insurance for coverage of cancellations within 30 days of the tour commencing for reasons other than a full tour cancellation.

Day 1

Earth - Ground, Nourish & Rest

Welcome to Portugal, your home away from home for the next four nights. We’re so glad you’ve made the journey here to work on your inner landscape, giving you the time and space to release, heal, and grow with like-minded souls.

Upon arrival, meet your driver and transfer to your luxurious accommodation in the Ribatejo region. Surrounded by verdant terraced vineyards and the gentle flow of the Douro River, this idyllic setting inspires a sense of calm and inner peace, providing the perfect backdrop for deepening the relationship with yourself, your community, and the world around you.

You’ll stay at Quinta Carvalhas – a picturesque vineyard estate comprised of luxurious suites, lush gardens, and wellness activities of all kinds. Get settled in your posh room, then come together for a welcome tour and an opening ceremony where you can set your intentions for the coming days. A welcome dinner, yoga, and evening rituals follow.

Day 2

Water - Awaken, Surrender & Flow

Today, we’re focusing on water, our life source and element that covers over 70% of our planet. Our goal is to focus on flow, healing, and the sacred connection to our sexuality.

From a variety of workshops and sessions, we’ll participate in activities such as yoga, breathwork, swiming and more to align the mind, the body, and the soul with the divine feminine energy of the water, land and stars above.

Day 3

Fire - Express, Empower & Manifest

Today, we’re focusing on the element of fire, our inner passions and outer force that offers the juxtaposition of safety and destruction. Our goal is to focus on igniting, alchemizing, and speaking our truths into existence.

From a variety of workshops and sessions, we’ll participate in activities such as wild dance, emotional release, a fire ceremony and more to empower our voice and reignite the flame determination to conquer our fears, goals, and dreams.

Day 4

Air - Trust, Connect & Love

It’s our last full day in Portugal, and we want to ensure you have the tools to trust yourself and make connections once you are home. A conscious relating workshop and a heart opening embodiment practice will arm you with confidence and compassion so that you can move forward boldly and bravely.

In the evening, we'll have a meditation walk and some time to gaze at horses, reflecting on our place in the universe and feeling the pulse of something greater than us. To cap off the day, we'll meet for dinner, bedtime stories, and our usual evening rituals. Soak in every moment you can of this transformational experience and breathe in new possibility all around.

Day 5

Ether - Expand, Listen & Integrate

After morning rituals and a final integration and closing circle, it’s time to say goodbye. Take your transfer to the airport and catch your flight.

Through embodiment practices, empowering tools, sisterhood and deep presence with nature, we hope you leave here feeling rested, rejuvenated, and reconnected to the world around you. You always have a safe-haven within yourself, a space to drop into, listen, and receive the answers you long for, even when you return home. Always remember who you are. Safe travels and be well!

Quinta Carvalhas
Located in the tranquil Ribatejo countryside, Quinta Carvalhas, also known as The Green Farm, is waiting for you to come home. This luxury retreat in central Portugal combines nature’s heart beat, a stunning property, and a wealth of knowledge and wellness activities from a loving family team. All they ask is for you to be yourself and find comfort in this peaceful respite.

The retreat sleeps up to 32 guests in 16 private bedrooms, 10 featuring en suite baths with three shared baths for the remaining six. The posh rooms are divided over three different areas of the farmland in refurbished barns and rustic buildings that are decorated for comfort, style, and healing.

All rooms are equipped with:

What happens if I need to cancel my trip?

Will TourHero or the operator take care of my visa (if applicable)?

Travelers are responsible for researching visa requirements and obtaining a visa if needed. Please check government websites to ensure you have the necessary documents, along with passport requirements, before your departure date. This includes necessary transit visas, permits, and vaccinations required prior to travel and any required reciprocity fees for the destination. TourHero will provide a booking confirmation document after purchase, which may be needed to obtain a visa.

If your visa is denied for any reason, TourHero will issue a refund based on the cancellation policy. However, we are unable to provide a refund after the cancellation due date has passed.

Do I need a passport for this trip?

A full and valid passport is required for all persons traveling to any destination outside of one’s home country. Most international tours require a passport that's valid for at least six (6) months beyond the scheduled end of your itinerary. TourHero will not issue refunds based on passport issues such as renewals or lost passports.
