Paola Ramirez
Pau Rocío is a plant based chef, women circle facilitator, mom of Ava and eternal student. She’s a strong capricorn that has been following her dream for the past 3+ years in culinary arts. She comes from a humble family, seeing her grandmother pay bills by making “pasteles” and “coquito”. She remembers how fascinating it was, to see her, with very little ingredients, making such delicious food that could fulfill the entire family. Since then, Pau was attracted to the kitchen as a special place. When Pau became a mom, she understood the need to honor the land and take care of our natural resources, living in a sustainable way and fighting for food sovereignty. Her project is a reflection of these values. She believes food is one of the most intimate ways of connecting with the earth, our bodies & surroundings. This is what nourishes and heals, what unites us, brings memories, pleasure; even nostalgia. Food is medicine for our body, mind and soul. It is her legacy, her fighting and her way to make revolution.
