BIO
Hi! I'm Ben, a professional photographer/videographer, and passionate traveler. I curated this trip to Tanzania because I believe traveling is the best way to grow as a person, because it forces you to see the world from others perspectives, whether it be the new cultures you experience, or the friendships and connections you make along the way. Learning different ways of life, helps you to become a more mindful, accepting person. Traveling is all about exploring, experiencing different cultures, and making unforgettable experiences with friends and like-minded travelers. I hope to make this trip primarily for creators and artists like myself, however, all are welcome, as long as you are willing to be a part of a short film about the trip! If an unforgettable trip with some amazing people is on your bucket list, then I'd love for you to join me in Tanzania!

Timeline

Details

Day 1 · August 5, 2025

Kili'n it from the get-go!

-Welcome to Moshi! Touch down and breathe in that fresh Tanzanian air. This vibrant town sits right at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro, so keep an eye out for epic mountain views as we roll in. After landing, you'll link up with our friendly local rep and meet the rest of the crew. We'll hop on a group transfer and make our way to our new digs.

-After checking in, enjoy some free time to explore the local scene, snap some killer photos, or just chill and soak it all in – it's your call.

-As evening falls, we'll come together for a welcome dinner at the resort. Good food, great company, and the start of some unforgettable connections. Cheers to new adventures!

Day 2 · August 6, 2025

Kili me softly with this hike!

-Rise and shine – breakfast is served at the resort, and trust us, you'll want to fuel up. Today's the day we tackle a slice of Africa's highest peak: Mount Kilimanjaro.

-We'll kick off from a chosen trailhead, diving straight into lush rainforests that feel like something out of a movie. The hike is guided, so you'll get the lowdown on all the cool plants and creatures we spot along the way. And those panoramic views? Absolute game-changers. Perfect for that jaw-dropping photo or just soaking in the moment. No matter your fitness level, this trek is all about experiencing the magic of Kili without the crazy commitment.

-After this epic adventure, we'll head back to the resort to unwind. Maybe edit those photos, take a dip, or just kick back. Dinner's on us at the lodge tonight – time to swap stories and chill with the crew.

Day 3 · August 7, 2025

Seren-get-it in the Serengeti!

-Morning, explorers! After breakfast, we'll check out of the resort and embark on an epic journey to Serengeti National Park. But first, we'll cruise through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, skirting the rim of the majestic Ngorongoro Crater. Consider this your moving game drive – wildlife sightings start now!

-As we roll into the Serengeti, watch the landscape transform into those iconic wide-open plains you've been dreaming about. Fun fact: ‘Serengeti’ comes from the Maasai word Siringitu, meaning ‘the place where the land moves on forever.’ Pretty fitting, right?

-We'll arrive at camp just in time for lunch.

-Post-lunch, gear up for an afternoon 4x4 game drive. This is the real deal – the quintessential African safari. Picture thousands of hoofed animals roaming the plains, fierce predators on the prowl, and acacia trees dotting the horizon.

-As the sun dips low, we'll head back to camp for dinner under a sky bursting with stars. Share your best shots, swap stories, and soak up the magic that is the Serengeti.

Day 4 · August 8, 2025

Soaring and roaring in the Serengeti

-Another incredible day in Africa begins with breakfast at camp. Then, you've got a tough but thrilling choice to make.

-Option one: hop into our 4x4 for a morning game drive, where early-hour wildlife action is at its peak.
-Option two (and it's a showstopper): take to the skies on an optional hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti. Float above the endless plains as the sun rises, spotting herds of animals from a bird's-eye view. If that sounds like your jam, make sure to book it in advance! (See add-ons for pricing and more information.)

-Post-morning excitement, we'll rendezvous back at camp for lunch and some free time to get out of that midday sun.

-As the afternoon cools down, we're heading out for another game drive. The Serengeti transforms throughout the day, and now's your chance to see it in a whole new light. From vast treeless plains to acacia-studded savannahs and dramatic rock outcrops, the landscape is as dynamic as the wildlife. Keep your cameras ready – the interactions between the many species here offer some of the best wildlife viewing on the planet.

-Return to camp just as the sky starts painting itself with sunset hues - dinner awaits.

Day 5 · August 9, 2025

Crater expectations – Ngorongoro adventures

-Rise and shine! After breakfast, we'll check out of camp and set our sights on the legendary Ngorongoro Crater. Strap in – this drive is more than just a commute; it's a journey into Africa's very own Garden of Eden.

-As we arrive, prepare to be wowed by the spectacular scenery. We'll descend nearly 600 meters down to the crater floor, entering a world where every type of ecosystem coexists: riverine forests, open plains, freshwater lakes, and even alkaline lakes. This ancient volcanic caldera spans about 300 square kilometers and boasts a mind-blowing concentration of wildlife. There's a solid chance we'll spot an array of animals, including lions, elephants, and maybe even the highly endangered black rhinoceros.

-After our epic crater tour, we'll make our way to Karatu where the afternoon is all yours.

-Wrap up the day with dinner at the lodge.

Day 6 · August 10, 2025

From Safari to the surf – you’re Zanzibar bound!

-After one final breakfast in the wild, we're trading lions for lagoons! Check out of the lodge and transfer to Arusha airport for our flight to the legendary Spice Island: Zanzibar.

-Touching down, our local guide will greet us and whisk us away to our beachside haven.

-The rest of the day is yours to dive into island life. Stroll along idyllic beaches, wander through winding cobblestone alleys, or get lost in fragrant bazaars. Kick back, relax, and let the island vibes wash over you!

Day 7 · August 11, 2025

Choose your own adventures in Zanzibar!

-Morning, sun-chasers! After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, the entire day is yours to script your own island adventure.

-Craving underwater thrills? Dive into a half-day snorkeling trip around Mnemba Island, where crystal-clear waters reveal vibrant coral gardens and a kaleidoscope of tropical fish. If sandy beaches and turquoise waves are calling your name, the half-day Nakupenda boat trip to a secluded sandbank is pure paradise.

-Feeling cultural? Embark on a Spice Island tour to unravel the aromatic secrets that give Zanzibar its nickname. Or maybe you'd like to mingle with locals on a village visit and swim with sea turtles – talk about a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

-For the seafarers at heart, the full-day Safari Blue boat trip offers sailing, snorkeling, and seafood feasting. And as the day winds down, there's nothing like a sunset dhow cruise to paint the sky with hues you'll never forget.

See add-ons for pricing and more information.

Day 8 · August 12, 2025

An epic adventure comes to an end on the island

-Morning, globetrotters! Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel, taking in those last ocean breezes and island vibes.

-After we check out, we'll take a group transfer to the airport.

-As we part ways, remember that this isn't goodbye – it's just ‘see you later’ in another corner of the world. Safe travels, and keep chasing those horizons!
