19 day Bespoke Agrentina Trip in February/March 2020 – Based upon our suggested itinerary, Laura at Say Hueque put together a great trip which included visiting Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Salta, Cachi and Cafayate. All arrangements made were superb. Guillermo treated us to a fantastic walking trip in the north side of central BA. Such a charming and helpful guide. Enjoyed wine tasting in Mendoza. Loved Salta, such a wonderful laid back city. Experienced a great road trip from Salta to Cachi and then on to Cafayate with more great wine testing. Sadly due to Covid 19 we had to abandon our trip and missed out on our itinerary travelling north of Salta and then missing Iguazu Falls. Amendment of our arrangements were handled very well by Laura enabling us to avoid being stranded in Argentina before flights were suspended. Say Hueque are highly recommended.

Best trip of my life! We were supposed to go on a trip to Bolivia but had to cancel it last minute due to the unrest in Bolivia. We managed to find this amazing tour 2 days before we were scheduled to fly out and Karen was supportive throughout the whole process. Our last minute tour was a blessing in disguise because the highlight of the trip was trekking to Perito Moreno Glacier. This experience was the best thing I've ever done in my life! Our guide on this experience Jorge was so friendly! Also, our guide in Buenos Aires Marines was amazing as well, so funny and helpful. I would definitely want to book with them next time I go to Argentina! Thanks for these experiences of a lifetime Say Hueque!

Day 2 · April 17, 2025

Glacier magic – a full day at Los Glaciares National Park

-Rise and shine! After breakfast at the hotel, we’re off to one of Patagonia’s most iconic spots – Los Glaciares National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its nearly 200 glaciers and vast Patagonian ice fields. A scenic 50-mile journey from El Calafate brings us to the park’s main attraction, the Perito Moreno Glacier. This colossal ice wall, towering 240 feet above Lake Argentino, is one of the few glaciers in the world still advancing, and witnessing it in person is breathtaking.

-Your guide will lead you along a series of walkways that bring you right in front of the glacier, offering prime viewpoints to watch the icy landscape shift and crack. If we’re lucky, we might witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of ice breaking off and crashing into the lake, a sound that seems to freeze time itself.

-The adventure kicks off from the main balcony, where you'll soak in the scale of this natural wonder before having free time to explore the trails on your own. For those wanting a closer look, an optional boat ride offers the chance to sail past the glacier wall, where floating icebergs add an extra dose of thrill.

-After an unforgettable day, we’ll head back to the hotel for some downtime before dinner on your own.

Day 3 · April 18, 2025

Journey to El Chaltén, the gateway to Patagonia’s peaks

-After breakfast, we’ll check out and embark on a private transfer to El Chaltén, Argentina’s ultimate hiking haven and Patagonia’s vibrant adventure capital. Enjoy the stunning, ever-changing landscapes on this scenic 3-hour journey, complete with a box lunch.

-On arrival, settle into your next cozy home base, set just steps away from some of the most iconic trailheads in the region. With the afternoon free, you’ll have time to explore the town or unwind at the lodge.

-As evening falls, we’ll gather for a delicious 3-course dinner at a local restaurant, where you’ll experience the heart of El Chaltén’s dining scene. This is your chance to relax, share stories from the day, and get excited for the epic adventures coming up!

Day 4 · April 19, 2025

Trek to the iconic Laguna de los Tres!

-Fuel up with breakfast at the hotel because today we’re off to conquer one of Patagonia’s most iconic hikes! We’ll kick things off with a transfer along Provincial Route 41, tracing the Río de las Vueltas until we reach the starting point near the Río Electrico. From here, the adventure begins with a hike through a lush lenga forest, sheltered from the brisk Patagonian winds and surrounded by breathtaking glacier views, including Marconi, Eléctrico, and Cagliero. As we continue, towering peaks like Fitz Roy and Saint Exupéry come into view, giving a preview of the grandeur that awaits.

-Arriving at Poincenot camp, we’ll take on the trail’s most challenging stretch – a steep 400-meter ascent over rocky terrain. The reward? Laguna de los Tres, nestled beneath the majestic Cerro Fitz Roy, offering jaw-dropping views of snow-capped peaks and glaciers plunging into the vivid Sucia and De los Tres Lagoons.

-After enjoying a well-deserved lunch, we’ll start our descent, passing crystal-clear streams and stopping at Capri Lagoon, a hidden gem for photographers.

-By evening, we’ll return to the hotel to relax and soak in the day’s epic memories. Dinner tonight is on your own – explore El Chaltén’s dining spots at your own pace.

-Get ready for another unforgettable day in Patagonia! After breakfast, meet your guide at the hotel and set out on one of El Chaltén’s most famed hikes to Laguna Torre, with Cerro Torre as your ultimate goal. This trek takes you right from the village into a spectacular landscape, starting with a gradual slope and following the Fitz Roy River’s flow. Within just 20 minutes, you’ll come across the dramatic Fitz Roy River Canyon, complete with picturesque waterfalls and initial glimpses of the legendary Cerro Torre.

-About an hour and a half in, we’ll arrive at the first viewpoint, offering sweeping vistas of Torre Mount and the Adela mountain range – a perfect spot for a quick breather and some incredible photos. For those who want an epic but shorter hike, returning from here makes for an enjoyable three-hour trek. For those eager to go further, the adventure continues as we head deeper into the valley, where we’ll pass by De Agostini Base Camp, where some of the world’s top climbers await their chance to summit Cerro Torre.

-From here, it’s just a quick hike to Torre Lake, where you’ll be greeted with jaw-dropping views of the spire-like peaks of Torre, Egger, Standhard, and Bifida, with glaciers cascading down into the lake’s still waters. After soaking up the views and grabbing a boxed lunch, we’ll head back along the same path to El Chaltén.
