Day 1
Welcome to Bali, the perfect island escape for pure relaxation, tranquil scenery, and incredible cultural experiences
It's wonderful to have you joining us on this Bali getaway, one of the most sought-after destinations for decompressing, rejuvenating, and letting go of all the stresses of the outside world. Your next few days will be filled with experiences that will help you renew yourself, from morning yoga sessions to daily excursions to the most scenic parts of the the island and beyond. Upon arriving at the airport, make your way to the Golden Bird Lounge after clearing immigration. You will be picked up by your driver and transferred directly to the hotel, located on tranquil Sanur Beach. Meet with your tour leader for a welcome meeting at 5:00 pm, then enjoy a delightful welcome dinner at a local restaurant by the beach. This is your chance to meet with your fellow travel companions and enjoy good company. Note: It is important that you attend the welcome meeting as we will be collecting insurance details and next of kin information during this time. If you are going to be late, please let us or the hotel reception know; ask reception or look for a note in the lobby for more information on where the meeting will take place.
Day 2
Soothe yourself with yoga, then embark on a day trip to experience a purification blessing at a temple, see the rice terraces, and more!
Rise and shine! This morning, we'll take the short walk to the nearby Yoga Studio and partake in a shared Vinyasa Flow yoga session. Then, we'll spend the day out on an excursion to see some of Bali's treasures, starting at the Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple for a purification blessing. This 11th-century temple and funerary complex features 10 rock-cut shrines carved into cliff niches. The compound has a petirtaan (bathing structure), which is used by the Balinese Hindus for ritual purification. The temple pond's natural spring is a constant source of fresh water, considered to be holy. After finding peace at the temple, we'll drive north to visit Kintamani and its magnificent panoramic viewpoint of Batur Lake and the active volcano. Here, you can stop for a coffee break and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. From Kintamani, we head back south to stop at the lush Tegallalang rice terrace, where iconic scenes of beautifully-arranged rice paddies on the scenic hillside will greet you. Finally, we return to the hotel, where you'll enjoy an hour-long traditional Balinese massage to relax after a day of sightseeing. Note: Please wear modest clothing (covering shoulders and knees) and wear a sarong when visiting the temple. You can rent a sarong at the entrance gate of the temple.
Day 3
Discover the magic of Nusa Penida — glorious views, amazing nature, and spectacular beaches abound!
Good morning! After breakfast, you're in for a real treat today. You'll be transferred to Sanur port to embark on your day trip to beautiful Nusa Penida. A 40-minute boat journey will get us there — and then the real adventure begins! Once we reach Nusa Penida, we begin our exploration at Broken Beach (Pasih Uug) and Angels Billabong. Angels Billabong is an impressive rock formation near Broken Beach. Both offer views of picturesque cliffs and pristine coastlines. Here, you will also find a pathway leading to a natural rock lagoon where you can enjoy the seascape views. If the tide is low, you may enjoy this pleasant swimming spot. After, we head to Kelingking Beach. Enjoy superb views and photo ops from the purpose-built platform. Then, we drive to Crystal Bay to admire the clear waters. Jump on the chance to hire your own snorkeling gear and have a cooling splash! After our time here, we'll head back to the hotel, where you can enjoy yet another hour-long evening massage.
Day 4
Enjoy a yoga and massage session before heading south to see the Graha Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park and Uluwatu Temple
Today, we begin the day with yoga, followed by a 60-minute traditional Balinese massage to relax your muscles and recharge yourself after our big day yesterday. After, our driver will take us south to explore the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park. This place provides a glimpse into Bali’s rich heritage and it is here that you'll find Indonesia’s tallest statue — standing at 1,221 meters when combined with its pedestal. Learn the story behind the monument here. Afterwards, we drive to Uluwatu Temple to witness a kecak dance performance at sunset, during which a version of the epic Ramayana Saga is retold. Then, we will head to Jimbaran Beach for a delectable BBQ dinner — enjoy!
Day 5
Have one last session of yoga before we say goodbye
This morning, you will have one final hour-long yoga session before you bid Bali goodbye. After checking out of the hotel, you'll be picked up by your driver and transferred to the airport in time to catch your plane back home. We hope you enjoyed your rest and rejuvenation in Bali — travel safe and see you again!
