Moving and feeling my own body has been always a need in my life. Physical activity was important to me since a child. I always wanted to explore and push my own limits. 'To discover your true potential, you first have to find your own limits and then you have to have the courage to cross them.' Yoga has been a part of my life for a long time. I found Bhakti Yoga at the age of 16, three years later I started practicing Asana. For me, yoga is more than just bodywork. It is a holistic approach to life that, in addition to physical exercise, also includes breathing techniques and meditation. This gives me deep access to my inner being. Healing and development is allowed to happen in this way.

So I quit my job at a design furniture manufacturer in 2013 and started from scratch. I have started to turn my passion into a profession. In 2014 I studied sports science and after 3 years of practical and theoretical training, I acquired a fitness trainer license A and B, as well as a personal trainer license. This was followed by the yoga teacher training to become an 1000hr+ advanced yoga teacher and meditation teacher with certification by the Yoga Alliance USA. As well as a training for basic massage therapist and Thai Yoga Massage therapist. In addition, I have a Movement Professional and a Blackroll Trainer license, a DAV climbing certificate and have completed a training as a CMAS ** diver. This year I discovered a new passion and started kite surfing.

I have been working as a freelance yoga teacher, personal trainer and group fitness trainer for several years. I also create my own workshops and retreats. In addition, my experience includes working as a mentor in various basic and advanced yoga teacher training courses.

My yoga style is a mix of Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Ashtanga and Yin Yoga in combination with Pranayama and Meditation. Every class or training is characterized by a creative, playful, intensive and loving handling of the body, which is rounded off by hands-on assists and ends in a deep relaxation to recharge body and mind.

Details

Day 1

The journey begins in Tulum as you meet your instructor and fellow travelers

Open your eyes to a true paradise as you land in Tulum, Mexico! This beachy haven serves as a place for reflection, relaxation, and adventure – here, your soul can truly sing. After making your way to the accommodation, an eco-resort surrounded by a lush jungle landscape, you will settle in and begin greeting your fellow travelers over a delicious and nourishing lunch. Free time in the afternoon will then stretch out before you, allowing you time to rest, adjust, or explore. As evening begins to swirl in the sky, we'll meet for our first wellness session led by Stine. Combining yoga, meditation, and pranayama breathing techniques, you'll look inwards and take the first steps towards a healthier future. Finally, the day is made complete with dinner, a meal where you can laugh and bond with your new family.

Day 2

Cleanse your body and mind with an ice bath on day 2 of the retreat

Good morning! The early sunlight is filtering through the canopy above as the jungle comes to life. We will rise at 7:30 AM to attend the day's first wellness session. Breakfast will then lead into some afternoon free time, giving you a chance to make use of the property's many amenities. After lunch, we will continue our exploration of holistic health with an ice bath! Long thought to have a myriad of benefits, this ice bath will help combat physical fatigue while simultaneously sharpening your mental focus and uplifting your mood. And, hey, it's also just fun! Just like yesterday, the day will come to a close with more yoga, meditation, pranayama, and great food.

Day 3

Traverse the environment of Tulum with an exciting quad bike adventure

Greet the day and head to your morning wellness session with intention. Think about how you can center yourself with this time, finding inner peace and harmony. In the late morning, we'll head out on an exciting quad bike excursion that will allow you to traverse Tulum's amazing environment, savoring the beauty of nature while allowing your adventurous spirit to flourish. After plenty of time to zip along forest floors and verdant hills, we'll return to the accommodation so that you can fuel your body with lunch and fuel your soul with free time. Today, the day will end with another wellness session, allowing us to enter a state of deep relaxation before bed.

Day 4

Dive into the dazzling beauty of Cenotes Sac Actun

From its dense forests to its sparking shores, Tulum is a place of undeniable natural beauty. Today will give us a chance to dive deeply into this scenery with a visit to Cenote Sac Actun. This cave system is home to unbelievable geologic formations and pristine water. It's the perfect spot to stop and feel the understanding embrace of Mother Nature. Once you've made a thorough connection with this one-of-a-kind spot, it's back to the resort for free time, nourishing meals, and an evening wellness session.

Day 5

Draw from ancient shamanic wisdom during temazcal and cacao ceremonies

Today begins much like every other day of the retreat, with yoga, meditation, and pranayama. Our afternoon and evening, however, will be totally different. Drawing from the ancient shamanic wisdom of this area of Mexico, we will transform ourselves with powerful ceremonies. The first will be temazcal, a type of sweat lodge experience designed to help purify you of negativity, stress, and anything else that may be holding you back in life. Then, after lunch, we will have a cacao ceremony that will guide you into a meditative state. Before the day is over, we'll come together over a bonfire so that we can discuss the experiences of the day and gain a deeper understanding of how we have changed.

Day 6

Step into your higher self on the last full day of your retreat

Rise and shine! It's the last full day of the retreat, so get up and get ready to tackle these final activities with purpose. After our routine of wellness and breakfast, we'll have some free time that will allow you to truly appreciate our resort and the magic of Tulum. Take a swim in the pool, lay out in the sun, or just chat with the rest of the travelers. In the evening, we'll have our usual session of yoga, meditation, and pranayama before a cooking class that will introduce you to some mouthwatering recipes of the area. After eating our creations for dinner, it's off to bed to get a night of divinely rejuvenating rest before we depart in the morning.

Day 7

Complete your wellness journey with one final morning session before departing Tulum

Our journey comes full circle today as we have one final session and prepare to head home. As always, we'll begin the day with yoga, meditation, and pranayama breathing. During this time, find a mental space that balances gratitude for this experience while also building excitement to continue your personal work after returning home. You now have all the tools for further progress on your own; it's up to you to use them as best you can. Finally, after breakfast, you'll check out and head to the airport. Thanks so much for joining us on this transformative journey!
