Helane Marie Anderson is a multi-layered musician & composer, singer, pianist, harpist, producer and multi-instrumentalist. Her unique style of working with sound blends her years of studying healing modalities with contemporary music & sound healing. Helane is currently a featured sound meditation producer & artist for Apple Fitness +/ Platoon releasing more than 15 sound meditations in 2023-2024 available on all streaming platforms. Also in 2024, she co-produced and released an album of original songs and mantras entitled “Listen to the Trees” featuring 9 singles and 2 remixes, The Summit FM stated they “loved the music from the album and found it completely original - there’s else nothing like it!”
On Helane’s live performance, The San Francisco Classical Voice called the experience “remarkable” and continued, “the crystalline nature of Anderson’s voice — phased and overlaid with various instruments — was truly transcendent as tones layered on tones.“ She has been a featured sound healing artist leading workshops at renowned studios including The Mindry, the Olandar Foundation (Malibu), InsightLA Meditation, Soulplay Yoga, DisclosureFest and many more throughout the Los Angeles area. As a key member of the group Sonic Devas, she has performed at St. John’s Cathedral, BhaktiFest, The Center SF, The Portal, in Marin County, Yoga Soup in Santa Barbara and more.
On the wellness front, Helane is the best-selling author of You Are Meant to Sing! 10 Steps to Unlock Your Inner Voice, a transformational voice coach, certified Craniosacral Therapist & bodyworker, sound healer, yoga instructor, and teacher. She has served as adjunct faculty at the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music for the past 14 years and was previously Artistic Administrator at the Los Angeles Philharmonic where she produced concerts at both Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Hollywood Bowl. Helane holds a Master of Arts degree from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from Salem College. She also holds a certification in Sound Healing & Sound Therapy from the Globe Institute in San Francisco. Helane teaches her own courses in Sound Healing and Vocal Alchemy through her business Sacral Sounds which she founded in 2014.

-Welcome to Norway! After getting through immigrations, we'll make our way to Meretes Garden, our serene retreat center nestled amidst fjords and mountains.
-On arrival, take the time to unpack, unwind, and attune yourself to the tranquil surroundings. Let yourself begin to settle into the gentle rhythms of the retreat.
-In the evening, we'll gather in the glass-enclosed greenhouse for our first circle, a space to land fully in the moment and align our intentions for the retreat.
-End the day with a transcendent sound bath, designed to harmonize your frequency and restore your nervous system after your travels.
-Begin the day with a grounding meditation and gentle yoga flow to awaken your senses and align your body with the energies of the natural world.
-Following breakfast, explore the power of sound through the vibrations of your own voice and body in a movement, voice, and sound workshop.
-This afternoon, enjoy time to rest, take a walk in nature, or participate in a private craniosacral therapy session — a deeply restorative experience to release energetic blockages and balance your nervous system.
-In a sound bath session, we will journey inward to restore the body, mind, and spirit through the interplay of sound waves, vibrations, and stillness.
-End the day with a soulful, communal dinner filled with joy, love, and connection.
-Awaken to the new day with mindful meditation and gentle yoga practice.
-After breakfast, set off for an immersive guided hike through the pristine fjords and mountains of Norway and listen deeply to the natural world around you.
-After a day spent exploring, gather for a delicious evening meal. Celebrate the adventure we shared and the connections we’re deepening — both with the land and within ourselves.
-As before, the day begins with a soothing blend of meditation and gentle yoga practice followed by a hearty breakfast.
-We'll continue exploring how movement, voice, and sound interact to create harmony within through a workshop.
-This afternoon is yours to unwind, integrate, and restore. Explore the peaceful surroundings, relax in the sauna, or gently reset in a craniosacral session.
-Just before dinner, allow yourself to be carried by the waves of sound as they wash over you in a sound bath session.
-Today's morning meditation and yoga focuses on embodying flow and ease, preparing you to move with grace through the water and the experiences ahead.
-After breakfast, glide through the tranquil waters of Norway’s fjords on an immersive kayaking excursion.
-As you paddle, notice the rhythm of your breath matching the flow of the water, a reminder that life moves best when we embrace ease and alignment.
-After a day spent in nature, gather for a nourishing dinner and reflect on the beauty and stillness you encountered on the fjords.
-In our final morning meditation and yoga session, we'll reflect on the inner harmony cultivated throughout the retreat, tuning into your breath and movement as a unified flow.
-In our final movement, voice, and sound workshop, we'll unlock deeper layers of authenticity and healing by strengthening connections to our own inner rhythms.
-After lunch, spend the last full day luxuriating on the beautiful retreat grounds and enjoying its amenities.
-Cleanse your body and spirit of any residual tensions and negativity in a calming sound bath session and allow the reverberations of the universe to usher peace into your heart.
-End the day with a dinner in community, sharing reflections and gratitude for the transformative experiences of the past few days.
-Gather for a final breakfast as a retreat community and savor both the meal and connections made throughout the week.
-In our closing session, we come together for one last sound bath. The vibrations will help integrate the personal and collective transformations experienced during the retreat, leaving you with a deep sense of alignment and peace.
-Following the sound bath, the closing circle offers a sacred space to reflect, share final thoughts, and set intentions for life beyond the retreat.
-A group transfer will take you from Meretes Garden to Ålesund Airport.
