-Take the group transfer to our hotel, check in, and take some time to settle as we officially begin our adventure.
-Immerse yourself in the culture and history of Cusco during an insightful city introduction led by a local guide who will share the stories behind this ancient city's unique blend of Inca and Spanish heritage.
-Celebrate your first evening here with a vibrant welcome dinner, a delicious introduction to the flavors and traditions of Peruvian cuisine.
Day 2 · July 17, 2025
Immersing ourselves in Sacred Valley customs and tradition
-Start your day refreshed with breakfast at the hotel before checking out, ready for a day of exploration and cultural connection.
-Discover the highlights of Cusco on a guided city tour, where your local guide will bring the rich history and vibrant traditions of this iconic city to life.
-Journey to the Cuyo Chico community for an unforgettable experience, sharing a meaningful lunch with locals who will warmly welcome you into their culture and way of life.
-Embrace adventure with a scenic hike through stunning landscapes, then we’ll participate in a sacred ceremony led by a local shaman, a unique spiritual experience connecting you to the traditions and energy of this land. Day 3 · July 18, 2025
Start with extraordinary ruins and end with sparkling stars
-Begin your day with a hearty breakfast and check out, ready for a day filled with adventure and breathtaking scenery.
-Step into history as you explore the Inca ruins of Huchuy Qosqo, with ample time to capture all the stunning photos you’d like and immerse yourself in the site's rich heritage. Trek through stunning landscapes to Pucamarca for a refreshing break before continuing to a high pass offering spectacular 360-degree views and descending to the serene Lake Piuray.
-If time permits, Experience the charm of Chinchero, a village renowned for its vibrant culture and ancient traditions. Then, savor a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, refueling for an afternoon of exploration.
-Marvel at the Salt Terraces, a fascinating site where ancient techniques are still used to harvest salt, offering a glimpse into local traditions. Thanks to our lesser-traveled entry point, it’ll be far less crowded without the typical tour groups around.
-After exploring, we’ll head to our accommodations to check in and settle after a long day of exploring. End your day with awe-inspiring stargazing at the on-site planetarium, where the 7:00 pm English session unveils the mysteries of the Andean night sky. Don’t forget to grab dinner, too.
Day 4 · July 19, 2025
Making our way to Machu Picchu
-Kick off your day with a delicious breakfast before checking out and continuing on our journey.
-Transfer to the historic town of Ollantaytambo, a living Inca village and the starting point for your hiking adventure, then embark on a scenic 3-hour hike, immersing yourself in the beauty of the Sacred Valley and its awe-inspiring landscapes.
-Savor a hearty lunch at a local restaurant, a perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the region's authentic flavors.
-Board the train to Machu Picchu town, a magical journey through lush valleys and towering peaks, then arrive and transfer to your hotel with the group.
