Day 1

Welcome to Porto, Portugal – home to port wine and gastronomic delights

Welcome to Porto, Portugal’s second-largest city featuring medieval history, intricate bridges, port wine, and coastal charm. Drop your bags at the space-themed hostel and walk the cobblestone streets to get a feel for the layout and slow-paced vibe. Tonight, we’ll have a group welcome dinner to get acquainted and start eating our way through this majestic city together.

Day 2

Explore downtown Porto on a guided electric bike tour

Porto’s historic downtown was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and today, you’re going to see all the reasons why on a guided E-bike tour. Grab a quick breakfast at the hostel’s cafe and get ready to pedal (and motor) your way through the streets! On this three-hour excursion, you’ll see important landmarks, such as the Porto Cathedral, the Cordoaria Garden, the Clérigos Tower, the Dom Luis Bridge, Ribeira Square, Teixeira Square, and Aliados Avenue to name just a few. Get your camera ready for a day filled with Porto’s history and culture!

Enjoy a pub crawl through the streets of Porto

After a memorable day of sightseeing, freshen up and head back out for a pub crawl through Porto. We’ll visit several of Porto’s hottest bars and clubs to meet new people and enjoy the city’s vibrant nightlife. With free drinks and no waiting in lines, you’ll wanna party til’ the sun comes up!

Day 3

Take a trip to Douro Valley for vineyard tours and wine tastings

Good morning, travelers! Today, we’ll head to Douro Valley, known for its award-winning vineyards and creative gastronomy. We’ll tour two traditional wine estates, enjoy a delicious lunch in the village of Pinhão, and try various Portuguese wines from the region. Learn about the people, the history, and culture of this area and why it was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon returning to the hostel, enjoy a free night to see the city as you please.

Day 4

Visit the historic landmarks Torre dos Clerigos and Palacio De Bolsa

Rise and shine! We’ll start the day by visiting a few famous landmarks, starting with the Torre dos Clerigos, a baroque church with an iconic tower that was built in the 18th century. From here, we’ll take a trip to the Palacio De Bolsa, the ornate stock exchange building filled with incredible decor and intricate designs. Then, enjoy the rest of the afternoon eating delicious food and wandering the streets of Porto on your own.

Enjoy a port tasting experience through a guided walking tour

Tonight, we’ll embark on a port tasting tour through the city streets. Our guide will take us to various locations and wine cellars while teaching us about the different types of ports, flavors, and ideal food pairings. Along the way, enjoy seven different tastings to make you a port pro! After the tour, keep the party going at some of Porto’s trendy bars and clubs.

Day 5

Eat your way through Porto on a food tasting tour

Today's the day we’ve all been waiting for — a food tasting tour with ten stops along the way! Eat a light breakfast because you’ll want to save room for all the traditional foods in store for us. We’ll meet our guide and start walking the city, stopping at grocery stores, hidden gems, and trendy hotspots. You’ll experience Portuguese cheeses and cured meats, a traditional octopus dish, the iconic pastry pasteis de nata, and so much more. We’ll also pass by some important local landmarks, such as Street Art by MrDheo and the Palladium Galleries Clock. From here, enjoy one last night in Porto before heading home in the morning.

Day 6

Say tchau to Porto and new friends

Now that we’ve eaten our way through the beautiful streets of Porto, it’s time to pack up and head home. Eat one final meal in this gastronomic haven and head to the airport for your next journey. We hope to see you again soon!
