Dr. Jenna Creaser
Dr. Jenna is committed to helping others live a more balanced and healthy life. Her career as a physician includes Rural Family Practice, Women’s Health, Maternity Care, and Functional Medicine. After completing her medical training, she continued to explore and gain experience in several other holistic modalities including Ayurveda, Yoga, Acupuncture, Hypnotherapy, Health Coaching, Herbalism and more.
She is also a certified Yoga teacher with 500+ hours of training focused on mental health and yoga therapy. Her training also includes Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Compassionate Inquiry (Dr. Gabor Mate’s CI training). Jenna recognizes the ongoing personal growth and self care required to serve others and live well in today’s society, humbly continuing her own work and healing as her practice grows. She believes with intention and awareness we can become more grounded, balanced, healthy, empowered and present in our own lives… co-creating a healthier, more beautiful world. She loves to travel and connect with others in wild spaces and places, often with her companion Hanz (a mini dachshund) along for the ride. Jenna looks forward to coming together with fellow healthcare providers - to learn from one another, and take a well deserved pause - filling up our cups in paradise.
Dr. Tamara Adamek
Dr. Tamara Adamek is a physician and meditation teacher. She lives in rural Ontario where she practices family medicine with a special interest in palliative care.
She completed Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher training at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Health Medical Center, where MBSR was originally developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn. She holds certificates in mindfulness meditation teacher training from the Open Heart Project with Susan Piver, and most recently completed Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield’s Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program.
After experiencing burnout early in her medical career, for the sheer fun of it and to reconnect with play and creativity, she became a certified raw food chef. The kitchen continues to be her playground, where she develops whole food plant based recipes and practices a burgeoning interest in mindful, intuitive eating. She is delighted to be collaborating with Jenna to breathe, play and move in community, and ultimately to connect with the innate wisdom we all possess to optimally care for ourselves and the world around us.
