Welcome to paradise…
-Touchdown at Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) and get ready for an unforgettable adventure! After clearing customs, hop onto the group transfer that will whisk you away to your first stop: the Arenal area where the famed volcano rests.
-Once you’ve checked in, you’ll have the remainder of the day to unwind and soak in the tropical vibes. Explore the hotel's stunning grounds, take a dip in the pool, or just relax in your room – whatever feels right.
-For dinner, head out and discover some local food spots, where you can start sampling the vibrant Costa Rican cuisine. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the best places to eat nearby!

Rainforest wonders and hot springs bliss
-Rise and shine, adventurers! Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel, then you're off to explore the awe-inspiring Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges! This half-day tour takes you across 12 varying hanging bridges, suspended high above the forest floor. As you traverse these bridges and terrestrial trails, you’ll have the chance to marvel at the lush canopy and perhaps spot some of Costa Rica’s iconic wildlife, including monkeys, sloths, toucans, and iguanas. Keep in mind, wildlife sightings aren’t guaranteed, but your guide will have a spotting scope ready just in case. Will TourHero or the operator take care of my visa (if applicable)?
Travelers are responsible for researching visa requirements and obtaining a visa if needed. Please check government websites to ensure you have the necessary documents, along with passport requirements, before your departure date. This includes necessary transit visas, permits, and vaccinations required prior to travel and any required reciprocity fees for the destination. If your visa is denied for any reason, TourHero will issue a refund based on the cancellation policy. However, we are unable to provide a refund after the cancellation due date has passed.
