Welcome to Casablanca, your first stop on this incredible Moroccan journey. From the airport, we’ll stop by the Hassan II Mosque and marvel at its intricate beauty and towering minaret that overlooks the sea. After some picture ops, we’ll travel to the Mosaic Hostel in Marrakech and make ourselves at home in the dorms. Freshen up and hit the streets with the group, checking out the souks (markets) and great food in this vibrant city. End your night with some mint tea and toast to a stellar journey together!
Rise and shine, travelers! Today, we’ll explore the streets of Marrakech with our local guide, starting with a trip to Ville Nouvelle, aka New Town, built by the French and controlled from 1912 to 1956. From here, we’ll head to the Majorelle Gardens, a botanical space with a mansion that’s now owned by Yves St. Laurent. After we take some Instagram-worthy pictures, we’ll head back to Old Town and explore the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and much more.
After lunch, we’ll head to the Agafay Desert and take a camel ride through the beautiful dunes. We’ll stop for dinner in the desert and have time to take pictures along the way. Once you return to the city, you’re free to explore the markets and enjoy the bustling energy of Moroccan nightlife.
Good Morning! Today, you have the option of taking a sunrise balloon ride over Marrakech (see optional add-ons section) before we travel to Agadir, a coastal city known for its beaches, golfing, and innovative gastronomy. Check-in at the hostel, take a yoga lesson, and head out for a great dinner on the shoreline.
After a restful sleep, grab a stellar breakfast on the hostel’s terrace and choose between a yoga session or a surf lesson to start your day. The rest of the afternoon is yours for free time to explore the city, soak up some sun on the beach, and try all the food you possibly can before heading back to Marrakech in the morning. Check out Agadir’s vegan cafes and spend some time at one of the various coffee shops to live like a local.
Today, we head back to Marrakech where you’ll have the entire day to yourselves. You can take a food tour, go souvenir shopping in the souks, book a spa treatment, eat your way through the cafes, or let the day unfold as you wander the winding streets. Have one last dinner with the group and enjoy the carnival atmosphere of Old Town after the sun sets before heading home in the morning.
After one last meal in this awesome city, it’s time to head to your next destination. Pack up your things, take your transfer to the airport, and scroll through that camera roll as you prepare to embark on another journey. Safe travels!
