bio

Hi there! We are Bree and Chantell Landry, (@twogrlsoneworld) a wife duo that enjoys exploring the outdoors. We began our travel platform to inform, inspire, and encourage others to diversify their travels.

We are committed to breaking societal norms surrounding queer and POC who enjoy the outdoors while also showcasing bravery when visiting places that POC do not typically visit.

We feel that bringing people together through the love of travel is our purpose here on Earth and visiting Peru is the perfect location to do so as it is one of our favorite countries ever! Diverse landscapes, great hiking, and amazing food are some of the experiences that we will get to enjoy together.

If this type of travel aligns with you and fits your vibe, we would love for you to join us on this EPIC trip we have curated!

City sights and Andean heights

-Rise and shine! We’re headed to Barranco, one of Lima’s most vibrant and artistic spots. This bohemian neighborhood is bursting with cool street art, vibrant colonial mansions, and amazing oceanfront views.

-We’ll explore Barranco’s winding streets, stopping at some of the best local murals and local landmarks before stepping into a hands-on oceanfront cooking class. With the Pacific breeze in the air, we’ll learn to make some Peruvian delicacies with the guidance of a local chef.

-Fueled up and ready, we’ll head back to Jorge Chávez International Airport for our flight.

-In Cusco, you’ll immediately feel the altitude shift. Welcome to 11k feet of adventure! A group transfer takes us to our accommodation, where you can settle in and start acclimating.

-The rest of the night is wide open. Grab dinner at a local spot, wander the historic streets, and soak up the historic charm. Tomorrow, the real adventure begins.

Day 3 · May 12, 2026
Onward to sacred sights

-We’re uncovering Cusco’s rich history with a walking tour. We’ll step inside the Cusco Cathedral, a masterpiece blending Incan and Spanish architecture, and explore the lively San Pedro Market, where locals sell everything from fresh fruit to handmade alpaca goods.

-From Cusco, we hit the road toward Chinchero, a high-altitude village where Andean traditions are alive and well. After a local lunch, we’ll explore this town known for its textile artisans and jaw-dropping valley views before heading to some of the most mind-blowing sites in the Sacred Valley.

-First, we’ll visit Moray, a mysterious Incan ruin of huge circular terraces. Then, it’s on to the Maras salt terraces, where thousands of salt pools cascade down the mountainside in a surreal pattern, still used for mining today.

-As the sun sets, we check into our cozy lodge in the Sacred Valley, where the air is crisp, the mountains feel close enough to touch, and the stars shine brighter than ever. Enjoy dinner before a chilled-out free night of your own. Sweet dreams!

-From Aguas Calientes, we hop on a bus for the final climb to the legendary Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas. Standing among these ancient ruins, surrounded by misty peaks, you’ll feel the energy of this wonder like nowhere else. Our guide will walk us through its hidden temples, terraces, and jaw-dropping viewpoints, uncovering the mysteries of this sacred Incan site. It’s a moment you’ll never forget.

-After soaking in all the magic, we head back down to Aguas Calientes for lunch before catching the return train to Ollantaytambo.

-From there, we transfer to our hotel, where you can unwind and process the fact that you just explored one of the Seven Wonders of the World!

-The night is free to do as you please – you’ve earned some R&R.

Sitting at over 17,000 feet, this otherworldly mountain is streaked with vibrant shades of red, gold, green, and purple, thanks to its unique mineral deposits.

-We’ll take the hike at an easy pace and take it all in. Along the way, we’ll pass grazing alpacas, towering glaciers, and sweeping Andean valleys. We’ll also enjoy lunch along the way.

-We’re returning to Cusco from here to check in and settle down for the last leg of our trip. Rest up, because the adventure isn’t over quite yet!
