Welcome to Monchique – Portugal’s hidden gem in the mountains
We’re so glad you’ve made arrangements to be here with us in Portugal for a peaceful and relaxing women’s retreat with Nicole. It’s time to put you first! Once you land, take your group transfer from the airport, check-in at your luxe villa, and enjoy some free time to get your bearings.
In the evening, we’ll come together and meet the group in the form of a welcome dinner and ice breaker activity. Get ready for a week of fun and relaxation with like-minded women who need (and deserve) some serious R&R. Grab a glass of your favorite drink and toast to a stellar retreat ahead!

Dive into your first sessions with Nicole that center on self-care, addressing toxic habits, and creating anchors
Rise and shine to your first full day in this beautiful Portuguese paradise. After a delicious breakfast, we’ll come together for a focused meditation session that will help us ground and center before our first session with Nicole. Today will focus on taking responsibility for your own self-care and addressing toxic habits and beliefs. We’ll break for lunch with some free time to reflect on all that we’ve covered before session 2, which centers on identifying and silencing your inner critic. Nicole will help you create anchors, the tools to use when you feel yourself slipping back into these patterns. This is just the start to the toolkit you’ll cultivate that you’ll take home with you when you leave this retreat!
We’ll have more free time after this session to decompress, then it’s back together with the group for this evening's activity: happy hour yoga. A more lighthearted session, it's a great opportunity to bond with your fellow travelers and spend more time getting in tune with your body. You’ll be on your own for dinner, but this is also the time to book an optional coaching session or spa treatment. No matter what you choose, breathe in the peace and quiet of the mountains.

Today, we’ll focus on letting go and creating boundaries in between meditation, great food, and a group wine tasting
We’ll start another beautiful day with breakfast and a walking meditation before jumping into day 2 of our sessions with Nicole. Our time will be spent learning to let go of what’s holding us back mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually, along with creating and maintaining healthy boundaries. When the sun sets, we’ll come together for a delectable wine tasting, before we break for dinner. Enjoy it all!

Enjoy free time today after meditation, a session geared towards personal values, and a Jacuzzi session in the afternoon
Another day in Monchique will bring us nothing but peace and quiet with a chill breakfast overlooking the property and a delightful meditation session to get our minds and hearts aligned. From here, it’s off to our next session which will focus on identifying personal values and the importance they play in our lives. However, today is a little different because after lunch, we’ll enjoy some free time before a group Jacuzzi session! There is no better way to relax in paradise.

Reclaim your authentic self and set some SMART goals before a boat ride along the coast
We’ll get focused and ready for today’s work with a morning body scan meditation session. From here, Nicole will help us reclaim our authentic selves and show us how to set SMART goals covered on the Wheel of Life.
After some free time at the villa, we’ll enjoy a boat ride along the coast before we come together for one last group dinner, a time where we can reflect on all that we’ve learned about ourselves and celebrate the path ahead. Live it up on this last night in Portugal!

Say goodbye to a successful women’s retreat with breakfast, a morning activity, and time for reflection and gifts
Can you believe it’s our last day of the retreat? We have to pack up, but we’re not leaving just yet. After breakfast, we’ll participate in one final meditation, then leave some time for a group reflection and gifts. Savor these last few hours and take pride in the inner work you’ve accomplished! From here, we’ll all jump in our transfer and head to the airport. We hope you leave here feeling rested, rejuvenated, and ready to return home with a new sense of joy and confidence. Safe travels and be well!

What happens if I need to cancel my trip?

Will TourHero or the operator take care of my visa (if applicable)?
Travelers are responsible for researching visa requirements and obtaining a visa if needed. Please check government websites to ensure you have the necessary documents, along with passport requirements, before your departure date. This includes necessary transit visas, permits, and vaccinations required prior to travel and any required reciprocity fees for the destination. TourHero will provide a booking confirmation document after purchase, which may be needed to obtain a visa.
If your visa is denied for any reason, TourHero will issue a refund based on the cancellation policy. However, we are unable to provide a refund after the cancellation due date has passed.
