Our journey into the heart of South Africa begins today! We have a week of wellness and wilderness ahead of us, and it is bound to be an absolutely dazzling experience. Once you land at the OR Tambo International Airport, you'll meet your driver and zip away past downtown Johannesburg and to your accommodation that will serve as the home base before and after your safari adventures. Enjoy a bit of down time before heading to a sharing circle where you and your fellow travelers will discuss what's to come and set your intentions. Fuel up with some dinner and it's off to bed!
Good morning! Rise early and begin the day with a healing session of yoga and meditation. With your mind and body in sync with each other, we'll grab breakfast, check out, and begin the drive to Kruger National Park. Once we arrive, we'll switch into a safari vehicle for the remaining drive to our accommodation. Watch as the iconic plains of Africa sail past you, and make sure to keep your eyes peeled for animals! Once we arrive at the camp, you'll have the rest of the day to relax with the serenity of nature surrounding you.
It's our first morning in Kruger National Park, and we aren't wasting any time! We'll rise with the sun for some yoga and meditation, and you'll feel the pulse of nature in a way that you never have before. We'll then head out on a safari drive in search of the Big Five: lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and African buffalos. A quick break back at camp for lunch will lead us to our afternoon safari drive with the chance to see even more animals such as hippos and hyenas. After such an exciting day, it's only right that we align ourselves with a breath work session before bed.
Rise and shine to more wellness and another safari drive! The morning once again poses the perfect opportunity to watch gorgeous animals in their natural habitats. After plenty of time on our drive, we'll return to camp, check out, and transfer to our next accommodation at a riverside oasis with a calming aura. We'll end the day with an interactive dinner with our guide where we'll get to dive even deeper into the mystique of this incredible sector of South Africa.
Our journey towards a deep, rewarding connection with nature continues today. As always, we'll start the day with yoga and meditation before heading out on our safari drive. As we'll be in a new location, make sure to pay close attention. See how the landscape affects what animals live here and how they behave. In the evening, breath work and a potjie (slow cooked African stew) dinner awaits. Yum!
It's time to head out of the national park and get ready to return home! After our morning wellness routine, we'll journey back towards Johannesburg. The transfer in and of itself is a wonderful experience, with the magnificent landscapes of Kruger National Park serving as an amazing backdrop for a bit of reflection. Back at your accommodation in Johannesburg, you'll have a relaxed evening where you can unwind and chat with your fellow travelers about the changes you've undergone over the course of this experience.
What an adventure it has been. Our time in Kruger National Park has been utterly transformative! Sadly, today marks the end of our trip. After breakfast, it's off to the airport to speed back home. Thanks so much for joining!
