We look forward to you joining in this vibrant deliverance of personal growth and community, where renewal takes on a colorful, spiritual hue.
Step off the plane and into a state of true tranquility here in dreamy Zanzibar! Over the course of the next ten days, you'll embark on a personal journey here in paradise, working on yourself and aligning your physical, mental, and spiritual sides. You'll be transferred from the airport to your seaside resort where you'll have a bit of time to unwind before a group dinner. A group circle will then give you a chance to introduce yourself and get to know your fellow travelers before we close out the day with a meditation on the beach that includes an ancestral circle and a journaling session.
Good morning! The sun is shining, and the rhythm of the tide serves as a gentle call to action as you rise. In the morning, you're invited to spend time in nature, in the community, or alone setting your intention for the next nine days. We will then meet for an early morning restorative yoga session focused on the spine. Then, head to a welcome circle before breakfast.
As afternoon overtakes morning, you'll have the option to either explore on your own or book an optional Spice Farm tour (not included in price; see add-ons below). Regardless of what you decide, we'll come back together at night for a restorative practice beneath the glowing moon.
Our schedule today is all about providing you with the tools needed to step into a brighter, more fulfilled future. We'll begin with a morning session of kemetic yoga, a modern practice that draws inspiration from ancient Egyptian spiritual and physical traditions, incorporating postures, breathwork, and meditation to promote holistic well-being. Afterwards, we'll have a Creation to Manifestation workshop with Steph where you'll be guided through different ways of manifesting your goals.
After a bit of time for volunteering or intentional rest, we will meet back up for a Body Love workshop that will remind you how to nourish your self and soul in the aftermath of childbirth. A group dinner will lead into an evening nidra session before we end the day with intentional deep rest.
Get ready for an early wake up call. Today, we are rising for pre-dawn vinyasa to draw inspiration from the stars. As morning breaks, we'll engage in a pure pranayama cleanse to release negativity and take in energy from the sun. The afternoon is free, allowing you to engage in intentional rest or to book an optional activity (not included in price; see add-ons below). Then, in the evening, we'll head outside once again for a session of gentle, slow flow yoga by the beach. Allow yourself to connect with Mother Nature as you feel out your place in this beautiful universe of ours.
A beautiful day breaks on the shores of Zanzibar and invites you to an optional group tea/coffee circle on the beach where you can strengthen your bonds with your fellow retreat-goers. Whether you attend or not, next up is a sunrise vinyasa session on the beach where we will feel the healing powers of ancestral waters. Then, after a breakfast where we will practice mindful eating, we'll engage in pranayama to cleanse ourselves as we journal to release that which no longer serves us.
The second half of our day will be focused on surrendering to silence. This will be an offering to practice silence, creating space to engage and be with your thoughts. Explore what comes up and invite curiosity as you explore and implement practices you’ve learned. During this time, you'll be able to engage with your peers in silence while practicing tapping into your own energetic being. We will continue this practice through dinner, at which point you will have two options: either carry on your silent practice and use the transition of night to day to end your practice, or break your silence in community while enjoying a gentle community sound bath.
The first half of today is largely open, allowing you to care for yourself in whatever way you see fit. We'll begin with a session of energetic flow beneath the sun before the day opens up with free time. If you'd like, you can book an activity to swim with sea turtles during this time (not included in price; see add-ons below).
After dinner, we'll engage in a series of workshops designed to transform and liberate you. First is a Creation to Liberation workshop that is followed up with kemetic and reiki from Shante. Then, a local sound bath artist will lead us through a sound bath where you'll achieve a meditative state thanks to sacred vibrations. We'll close out this time with a journal circle beneath the moon where you'll be able to look inwards and translate your dreams into concrete thoughts on the page.
We are once again stepping into this day early to maximize the time we spend progressing ourselves and enjoying this beautiful island. Before dawn, we'll practice vinyasa beneath the stars. Steph will then lead us through a morning meditation, inviting us to connect with healing energy. The rest of the day will then be free! We invite you to take this day to explore the town and sites as it is most supportive of your experience. This is a day to give yourself exactly what you need. We'll come back together as a group for a lighthearted evening with dinner, drinks and games before closing the festivities out with an evening journal prompt to help calm your mind before sleep.
Today provides us with an opportunity to focus on our mind-body connections. As the sun rises, attend a sacred session of sun gazing kemetic and restorative yoga, both of which will give you a deeper understanding of your physical form. Then, after breakfast, we'll have a group workshop focused on your relationship to touch. Here, you'll undergo a fascial release, a therapeutic technique aimed at relieving tension, pain, and restrictions in the fascia — a connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles, organs, and other structures in the body. The rest of the day will then be free until evening, at which point a yin yoga and meditation session will close out the day.
In the tranquil embrace of the pre-dawn hours, we will step into our final full day here in Zanzibar. Guided by Shante, a pure pranayama session unfolds, weaving a tapestry of deep breaths and inner serenity beneath a blanket of early morning stars. Once the sun is up, the day unfurls for exploration — enjoy moments of quiet introspection, conversations, and connection with the surroundings. We will come back together for Steph's Soul Flow session, an embodiment of harmony alongside the waves.
A bit of time to pack leads us into the afternoon where we will share lunch and a bit of time to relax. A closing circle then gathers everyone to share a moment of reflection before dinner. The day ends by the water once again with a moonlit gentle slow flow yoga session.
Today marks the end of our time together. Morning yin and reiki will help you achieve a state of harmony in the morning before we find closure in a gratitude circle. With that, we will check out of the resort and head to the airport to fly home. Thanks so much for joining us on this wellness journey! Safe travels and be well.
