Your first evening with us sets the tone for a transformative experience. A meet and greet session introduces you to your fellow retreat companions, fostering a community of like-minded individuals. Journey through wellness: Yoga, a chocolate workshop, and evening calm in Costa Rica
Rise with the sun and greet the new day with a revitalizing morning yoga & meditation session, guided by Selene. Let her help you to nurture your inner balance and peace. Following morning practice, enjoy a vibrant, energizing breakfast featuring fresh ingredients, all prepared with your wellness in mind. The day’s energy is fresh and alive, echoing the purity of our surroundings and the invigorating spirit of our community.
After breakfast, we will connect with the local culture by engaging in a chocolate workshop. Chocolate has deep historical roots in Costa Rica, dating back to pre-Columbian times, and this heritage is intertwined with modern Costa Rican traditions. Post-tour, a wholesome lunch awaits, offering a moment of rest and rejuvenation before you enjoy some free time to reflect, swim, or simply mingle with your fellow companions. As the afternoon wanes, gather for a restorative yoga session, designed to realign and calm your senses as the day slowly transitions into evening. Finally, a delicious dinner provides a perfect ending to the day, followed by free time to enjoy the peace that the night brings.

Embracing adventure: Kayaking on Lake Arenal in between morning and afternoon wellness
Day three starts with a morning yoga and meditation session where Selene’s guidance helps you stretch into the new day with clarity and purpose. After revitalizing your spirit and body, enjoy a wholesome breakfast. Then, prepare to embrace the beauty of La Fortuna with a fun kayaking journey on Lake Arenal!
Once we are back from our kayaking, refuel with a delicious lunch before an afternoon of free time grants you some space for leisure. As the day winds down, gather for a restorative yoga session under the fading light of the evening, before we enjoy a delicious group dinner where the joy of shared experiences creates bonds and memories. The remainder of your night is free for you to enjoy as you wish.
Day 4 · May 19, 2025
Excitement and tranquility: Hike on the Arenal Hanging Bridges and soothe yourself in a hot spring
Today allows us to tap into two opposite ends of the energy spectrum. We begin with our usual routine of yoga, meditation, and breakfast, centering us before the adventures begin. We then head out to the Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park for a hike across their famous hanging bridges. Panoramic views allow you to take in the region's biodiversity, immersing yourself in Mother Nature's handiwork. Then, once our exciting hike is over, we will calm down with a visit to a local hot spring, soothing our muscles and calming our minds. Once back at the accommodation, we will enjoy a restorative yoga session and a final group dinner. Some free time to savor the feeling of being here in Costa Rica completes the day.
Day 5 · May 20, 2025
Final reflections and farewells
On the final morning of your transformative journey, begin with a serene meditation followed by a yoga session that allows you to reflect and center yourself. After a nourishing breakfast, share heartfelt goodbyes with new friends and your gracious host, Selene Ramirez. As you check out and board the group transfer back to the airport, carry with you not just memories but a renewed sense of peace and purpose. Though the physical journey ends, the spiritual and emotional connections forged here continue to resonate and inspire long after your departure.

Finca Luna Nueva is located in the heart of the Costa Rican jungle, deemed a recreational paradise and a living classroom for all who visit. The lodge offers delicious ‘farm-to-table’ food, comfortable rooms/suites, and miles of hiking trails through rainforests, farmland, and herbal gardens. Enjoy the views of each from your chosen accommodation, all featuring private decks or wraparound porches. You’ll have everything you need for the perfect experience, including private bathrooms with hot water, linens and towels, and space to rest and relax.
